Hey guys, I just booked a cruise in February. I would also like to travel to Europe sometime in the future. How hard is it to get everything ready to go out of the country? I'm just curious.:) Thanks

I just reread my post again, and I realized that I didn't ask my question correctly. Has anyone traveled with their guide dog to another country, and if so, how hard was it to make preparations like you and your dog going through customs and that sort of thing.

while airlines are obligated under disability discrimination laws, ships are not, so be wary of that.

Which means? I mean what could happen. They already told me that they've found a place for her to go to the bathroom.

hi,

there is some question that you need to ask yourself before taking your dog on board. these questions include hhow often she gets to work and you gonna need her.

as someone who travel friquently with, and without guidedog, i can say, travel with a guidedog to some place can be a problematic act. cause there's simply too much you need to be aware of, and at the same time, might not be the best interest for the dog.

if going on to a ship, means your dog will be staying in your room, doing nothing, the option might be better off to arange your dog to be board with someone without putting you both in a stressful situation.

beside that, you need to think of issue with the quarentine, that could be be a very stressful process for the dog to go thru.

good luck

That's what I was asking. I don't know if she'll need to be quarantined. I need to find that out. Whitney won't be in the room all the time. She'll be with me at meals and when I go to shows or whatever. I'll have to see how difficult it'll be for her to go on board first before I make the decision to take her.:)
